CommentLedger is a Jira app that captures comment create, edit, and delete activity after installation and presents that activity in an audit log with filtering, recovery tooling, retention controls, and export features.
If you use CommentLedger on behalf of a company, team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Subject to these terms, CommentLedger grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for your internal business purposes.
CommentLedger depends on Atlassian Forge and Jira Cloud. Your use of Jira, Atlassian products, and related services remains subject to Atlassian's own terms, policies, and platform limits.
If you receive CommentLedger through a private install link, beta, design-partner program, or other early-access channel, you understand that features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. Support response times and release schedules may also be more limited during private access periods.
CommentLedger and its related software, branding, and documentation are owned by CommentLedger and its licensors, except for third-party materials and customer data.
You retain your rights in the data you submit to or process through the app. You grant CommentLedger only the limited rights needed to host, run, support, and improve the service.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about CommentLedger, you grant CommentLedger a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
We may suspend or terminate access to the app if necessary to address security issues, misuse, legal risk, non-payment, platform constraints, or breaches of these terms.
You may stop using the service at any time. Uninstalling the app from Jira ends active use, but data already stored in Forge-hosted storage may continue to be handled under Atlassian's storage lifecycle.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommentLedger will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommentLedger's total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
